Wells Fargo Case Study

Some of the keys to this successful project were great teamwork, putting ourselves in the shoes of the customer, listing jobs to be done, building a problem definition set, and having a solid testing plan. My secret sauce is my speed of designing creative alternative solutions and pumping out quick, high-resolution prototypes. My iterative design testing was the single most important part of the process. In testing users rapidly, we were constantly surprised by their input and we continually updated and refined our hypothesis.

Risk Management App Solves bank fraud problem

With 5 years of banking fraud scandals threatening the survival of Wells Fargo, a system of safeguards had to be put in place to ensure the legitimacy of credit card, checking, and savings accounts being opened properly. I helped identify root-causes and created a new risk management platform to safeguard the public.

Problem | solution

The Department of Justice fined Wells Fargo $3 billion to address their bank's violations. The risk management scandal involved employees who took credit card credentials without customer consent. The software I designed prevents bank employees from committing fraud.
